Natural Skin Care and Organic Skin Care
ImageLearn to prevent skin damage.  It seems common sense to take the necessary measures to prevent skin blemishes and accelerated aging in the first place rather than scramble to undo damage after it has already occurred.  And, in fact, there are simple steps to do just that.

Step One:  Cleanse the skin from the outside each day.  Cleaning the skin on a daily basis with a hypoallergenic soap or cleanser is paramount.  Sweat, cosmetics and environmental toxins accumulate on the surface of the skin.  It is very important that they are washed off to avoid clogging the pores and follicles.  Clogged skin is the perfect breeding ground for acne-causing bacteria.

Step Two:  Eat a healthy diet.  Healthy skin starts from the inside, not the outside.  Adequate quantities of necessary minerals, vitamins and nutrients will keep skin radiant, healthy and strong, long after the unhealthy eater’s skin shows signs of advanced aging – wrinkles, sags, fine lines and cellulite.  Tips to improve diet include

  • Eat less simple carbohydrates
  • Add more complex carbohydrates
  • Decrease alcohol and caffeine consumption
  • Increase water consumption
  • Add essential fatty acids and good oils daily
  • Cut out unhealthy fats

Step Four:  Implement a routine exercise program.  It should stimulate the cardiovascular system and promote sweating.  Exercise that results in sweating is actually helping to clear out poisonous toxins from the system and also helps to jump start all other systems of the body to function more efficiently.  The decrease of toxins within the body also decreases the chances that the toxins will need to be excreted through the skin, another common cause of acne and skin blemishes.
